LANGHE, MONFERRATO and ROERO:
The farming landscape, rural inhabitants and the villages stretched out over the hills build an environmental and human tissue which identifies itself with actuality and history: the Lower Langa, enriched with vineyards and the Higher Langa, enriched with splendid panoramas, deep silences and woody areas alternating hazelnut groves and chestnut woods, a complex intertwining of hills, landscapes and the vastness of changing horizons marked with the profiles of towers, castles and evocative slopes.
It is a literary land: the novels of Beppe Fenoglio and Cesare Pavese are its epics. MONFERRATO is noted for its millennial history evidenced by artistic beauty, medieval castles, Romanesque, Gothic and Renaissance churches, by Baroque monuments and works of autochthonous painters and poets. ROERO still presents an environment of which a good part is uncontaminated, tailor-made for anyone escaping from the chaos and asphalt and searching for a close contact with nature. The panorama is varied: ranging from the wild beauty of the Rocks to the majestic chestnut woods, the red
stretches of strawberry fields and the vineyards which join together in a spider web fashion the typical fruit and vegetable cultivation .

OENOGASTRONOMY and TRUFFLES:
The Langhe, Monferrato and Roero offer a genuine cuisine matched together with great wines and the well renowned white TRUFFLES of Alba, the ever-present protagonist of the autumn table. It has always reached tables all around the world, starting from the capital of the Langhe. Indeed, Alba hosts the most important truffle market in the world, a real show which takes place all autumn by dozens of searchers who, every week-end, expose the "diamonds" gathered in the night. The visitor can also go and discover the most secret moment: the search, by accompanying the truffle
searcher “trifolao” who is escorted by his faithful dog, and listen to tales of great adventures on dark, foggy nights and the authentic fascination of an extraordinary world.
